Type 3R/4/4X/FDA Rain Hoods
The RAINTEC series rain hoods are designed to provide superior protection for FTEC series fan filters and exhaust filters in outdoor installations. Available in multiple NEMA ratings to suit various environmental conditions and applications.
Type 3R and 4: Available in galvanized powder coated finish or SS 304, designed for indoor/outdoor use with protection against rain, sleet, windblown dust, hose-directed water, splashing water, and damage from external ice formation.
Type 4/4X: Constructed from SS 316L for enhanced corrosion resistance, offering the same environmental protection as Type 4 with additional corrosion protection.
Type 4X/FDA: Special FDA compliant sanitary version using special gaskets, specifically designed for food and beverage applications.
